Neal Perbix is a Minnesota native and currently lives and works in Northeast, Minneapolis.  He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BFA in sculpture and furniture design.

My new series of drawings are planted loosely between chaos and control. I am inspired by the immediacy of today’s society and many faceted ways information is conveyed. Through these transformations, I am compelled to explore the aimlessness and mundane transactions that are rooted in the human experience. The initial experiences communicated can feel careless or lacking real thought. My attempt to go back and "re-live" those experiences is a way to slow down my time to examine the initial actions which in a sense provides an unexplained clarity to actions that seem virtually directionless.
